The performance of the players, especially youngsters drew the attention from all the quarters. Mehedi Hasan Rana, Mukidul Islam Mugdho and Hasan Mahmud have showed their scintillation in the high-scoring BPL matches.

Dhaka Platoon captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said it will be beneficial for Bangladesh cricket if they could nurse them. But he warns saying this they should not think much to play for the national team right away. Dhaka lost Wednesday’s record-setting match to Chattogram Challengers by 16 runs. Though he bowled an expensive spell, Hasan Mahmud of Dhaka Platoon raised storm with his speed. And Mehedi Hasan Rana claimed three wickets at crucial moment giving away 23 runs. Mukidul Islam Mugdho drew attention with his speed, slower, fine line and length on the day’s first match for Rangpur Rangers.

“It’s high time to build up the bowlers who are young,” said Mashrafe Bin Mortaza. “Today I have seen another good bowler, Mugdho. He is good and potential bowler, who has a rosy prospect. He also has good speed,” Mashrafe told. “I think the board should make a good plan for them. It’s not that they have done well they have to pick for the national team right awa .

He said that if they could nurse them properly, they could be an asset in Test for Bangladesh in days to come.

“If the board could prepare them to take some more time, they could be big asset not only for Test but also for T20 cricket. Those are the future of Bangladesh,” he viewed.

“They may be done well in two matches and bad in two matches what have to drop from the mind. If they are to be nursed and keep them under their surveillance, I think, they could be given their long time service for the team,” he added.

The sporting wicket in BPL produced run-scoring match at every venue. Mashrafe said it would be good preparation for the team ahead of the next ICC World T20.

“The challenge the bowlers are facing on these wickets in BPL will be benefited them in international cricket. When the games will be played in Australia, the wickets will then be batting friendly. It’ll be better for them, if they could increase the option in bowling,”
